With this complete plan you’ll discover the body you’ve always wanted. We know you have it in you!

THE FIVE FUNDAMENTALS WE LIVE BY

1)  Food: You are what you eat

The old saying is true. 80% of your success is food.  If you’re only feeding your body sugar, carbs and fat, you are only giving your body fat to lay down. However, if you fuel your body with the right balance of protein, carbs and fats, your body will lay down lean muscle and burn fat.

Timing is also an important factor. Balanced meals should be consumed within every 2 to 3 hours. Regular meals ensure that your body has a consistent supply of energy. Eating frequently will also block fat from being stored, prevent extreme hunger that leads to overconsumption,  balance fluctuating blood sugar levels, and stop muscle loss.

The combination of balanced meals and accurate timing is a powerful tool in achieving healthy body harmony.

2)  Supplements: A vitamin a day will keep the doctor away

Food supplementation will not only provide balanced body nutrition but will also increase the rate of fat loss or muscle gain without adding additional calories or extra minutes on the treadmill.   By ensuring your daily intake of multivitamins, essential fatty acids, calcium and other nutritional needs, you will optimize maximum results.

3)  Cardio Workouts: Work smarter, not harder

Cardio workouts are key for strengthening your cardiovascular system and burning fat.  Cardio, however, is more more than just putting on walking shoes. It is important to include smart cardio in your routine.  So, are you working smart?  Here are a few vital steps to ensure you are getting the most out of your cardio routine.

-Monitor your target heart rate to stay within fat burn.

-Switch up your routine to avoid plateaus.

-Finish your workout with cardio, this allows you to maximize the fat burn.

4)  Resistance: Maximize Muscle Metabolism

Resistance training is key for building muscle, and muscle fuels the metabolism. The more muscle we have, the higher and stronger our metabolisms run. After a morning resistance workout, your metabolism continues to work throughout the day, burning calories while you sit at your desk in the afternoon. Resistance training builds lean body mass which produces real results and propels fat loss.

5)  Accountability: Accountability breeds responsibility

Let’s face it, whether it’s at school, work, or home; we are all more successful when we have to report to someone.  At Nutrition Fundamentals, you are held accountable for your choices and celebrated for your accomplishments each week.  Regular weigh-ins and measurements are imperative to reaching your goals.  Think of us as not only your coach, but also your personal cheerleader.  We’ll encourage and validate each step you take along the road to a healthy and fit life.
